The 6th edition of “L’Extravergine - A Guide to the Best Certified Quality Olive Oil in the World” edited by Marco Oreggia, one of the foremost experts tasters extravirgin olive oil in the world, published by Cucina & Vini Editrice.
World-wide Quality. L’Extravergine 2006 presents itself more and more as covering the whole world. It is a hand-book that supplies readers with a database of information about the world-wide olive-oil panorama. There are 26 countries in the Guide, of which 20 with their own producers: 459 extravirgin olive-oils selected after more than 3.000 tastings, that represent the excellence of the olive-oil production in the world. 115 of these producers are coming from other countries while 344 are italian. New feature articles give deeper insight into the whole olive-oil industry as well as up-to-date maps of the olive-oil zones of the world and of where the European-certified olive-oil denominated “Dop” is produced.
The 6th edition includes once again the Top 15: a recognition to the fifteen best producers of extravirgin olive-oil in all the world.
